"MICKEY MOUSE" ORIGINAL BISCUIT / CANDY TIN
- 1930s. European copyright in French, reading "Par Aut. Walt Disney - Mickey Mouse S.A./Concessionnaire: Etabts Molie Montreuil S/Bois". 7" diameter x 2". Color litho on tin with removable lid.
Outstanding design on lid featuring an image of Mickey gazing at Minnie, who brushes her hair while holding a mirror. Pluto sits between them and a smaller Mickey pulls larger Mickey's tail.
Sides feature series of small multiple images depicting Mickey and Minnie.
Copy - "Les Femmes ... C'est Jamais Pret" roughly translates "Women are never ready".
Colorful graphics "pop" with excellent eye appeal. A scarce tin design.
Condition is considered GOOD to FAIR with moderate surface/stain/edge wear. Moderate paint scuffing with scattered moderate surface/rim indentations. No inner contents. Colors and imagery remain bold, bright and vibrant.
Overall, we feel this tin is still in very displayable condition by most standards (see photos).
