"PLUTO THE PUP" CHARACTER CHILDS SLIPPERS
- Late 1940s-early 1950s Trimfoot / Walt Disney Productions. Original pair, each shoe approximately 6.5" x 2.5" x 3.5" (size 7). Wool, cotton & rayon.
Cute childrens bedroom slippers with great "Pluto the Pup" character motif. Includes partial tag on 1 shoe.
Pluto's ears & tongues remain (they are easily torn and are often missing). Well-designed and quality-made.
Condition is considered GOOD to FAIR with moderate surface/stain/edge wear. Moderate scuff wear with minor surface soiling and minimal wool deterioration. Shoe soles are worn, but "Pluto" name still apparent. Moderate ear end separations, but all ears & tongues are still intact. These slippers appear to have been well stored and cared for.
Overall, we feel they are still a very displayable pair by most standards (see photos).
An exceptional figural display with great visual appeal for the discriminating WALT DISNEY enthusiast. On a condition code scale of 1 to 10, the above listed item is rated - (7).
