This is a Antique/Vintage Paper Card for
"WOLSEY" UNSHRINKABLE
Mending Wool Yarn
In 1920, the business was situated near to Leicester Abbey, the burial place of Cardinal Wolsey. It was at this time, the business established the trading name of 'Wolsey' & as such became one of the first brand names. It employed travelling salesmen to service retail accounts and advertised its products across the world. As a result, Wolsey became a household name & in 1935 the Company was awarded its first Royal Warrant
After reading/researching, I believe this card was made between 1920-1935
After 1935-present time, the Royal Warrant is printed/displayed, on all Wolsey goods
