    Description

    The 18-ES electrode is a hammer electrode, similar to 26-ES. It consists of two 608 insulated pins that have 3 1/4" penetration and is mainly used on timber poles and ties. It can also be used on roofing, insulation, and EIFS. The pins make contact only at their uncoated tips and provide much more accurate readings of moisture content at various levels of penetration. The 18-ES is also available with a depth gauge as 18-ED.
