DISNEY PRODUCTIONS 1965 ANNUAL REPORT

Description

This 1965 Annual Report for Walt Disney Productions for shareholders is in excellent condition.
There is a one sheet insert titled “Around The Disney World As We Go To Press”” which talks about worldwide releases of films, participation in the Pasadena Roses Parade and Disneyland. The previous owner has his collection stamp on the green inside tab when you first open the report. There’s an interview where Walt is asked what his role is, admitting he no longer draws Mickey, or comes up with jokes or ideas. He refers to himself as a ‘little bee” that goes from one area to another and ‘gather pollen and sort of stimulate everybody’. The report has sections on: The versatility of the Studio; WED Imagineering; Disneyland ‘The Proving Ground’; the films of 1966 including Mary Poppins, That Darn Cat, Follow Me Boys, The Ugly Dachshund, Bullwhip Griffin, Lt, Robinson Crusoe, U.S.N., Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree; Marketing; a Celebrity Sports Center; Television; and Project Florida with a map showing the location of upcoming Disney World.
It also promotes the upcoming 1967 films Shaggy Dog, The Jungle Book and re-release of Snow White. Top edge of front cover has a slight bend and there’s a small crease on the lower edge. Back cover has dimple at spine. Otherwise, this is very clean. Super-sized at 9 1/2” X 11 1/8”
