This is a great, small and fast reacting thermocouple wire with a K-Type sensor. The sensor is a bead at the tip of extra long wire probe, which has a green Teflon FEF plastic coating. This is easier to clean than fiber glass insulation. It has a miniature type connector that will work with digital K-type thermometers (see my shop for a good selection). It can be used with thermometers that measure in degree Fahrenheit or in degree Celsius.
This probe can used to measure air or gas temperatures, liquid temperatures and it can be attached to pipes or embedded into objects you want to measure.

This thermocouple TC-1 will read very low temperatures, if you have a suitable thermometer. I have tested this down to -328°F (-200°C) with my thermometer DT1311 and DT1312. Note that many digital thermometers only measure to -58°F.
