    The OS201 and OS205 consist of an instrument and fixed probe with a semi-flexible shaft, making these models suitable for one-handed operation. The OS202 consists of an instrument and a remote probe with a semi-flexible shaft that is connected to the instrument by a retractable coiled cord, making it suitable for two-handed operation. The semi-flexible shaft on the OS201, OS202, and OS205 makes these models ideal for measuring the temperature of inaccessible or awkwardly placed objects.
    Models OS203 and OS204 have remote touch-shaped probes connected to the instrument by a retractable coiled cord; however, these models do not feature the semi-flexible shaft design. The OS203 and OS204 have fresnel lenses and a narrower field of view than the OS201, OS202, and OS205,and are therefore more suitable for measuring the temperature of more distant objects. Models OS204 and OS205 have adjustable emissivity, are °C/°F switchable, and have Min/Max/Hold features.
