This is a reliable thermocouple wire with a K-Type sensor. The k type sensor is at the tip of a 3ft long wire probe, which has a high quality medium temperature fiberglass insulation, good up to 752 degree Fahrenheit or 400 degree Celsius.
The thermocouple has a miniature type connector (2 flat blades) that will work with digital K-type thermometers of many manufacturers (Nicety, Fluke, Extech, Omega). This thermocouple probe can used to measure air or gas temperature, non corrosive liquids and the sensor can be attached to pipes or embedded into objects you want to measure.
This thermocouple will read very low temperatures, if you have a suitable thermometer. I have tested this down to -350°F (-210°C) with my thermometer DT1311 and DT1312. The k-type thermocouple thermometers DT804 and DT804A only measure to -58°F.  The thermocouple connector can easily be opened and you can shorten the wire if desired.I can also make these to special length.
