This is a 6 inch long high temperature K-type thermocouple with 0.118" diameter 304 stainless steel SS sheath. The probe can be used up to 500 degree Celsius or 932 degree Fahrenheit. The junction is ungrounded.
This industrial type thermocouple can be used on many machines, ovens, kilns, furnaces, exhaust pipes and in water and waste water temperature measurements.
The high temperature plastic housing of the K-type thermocouple connector is made from durable yellow nylon and is stable up to 200 degree C or 392 degree F. The standard size male connector with round pins is compatible with connectors made by Omega, Digi-Sense, Cole-Parmer, Wattlow and others. The connector pins are made from thermocouple compensation metal chromel and alumel.
This K-type thermocouple is also available in 10" length.
