    Description

Antique MECHANICAL Valentine of SLEEPY From the SNOW WHITE AND SEVEN DWARVES of WALT DISNEY Fame!! Copyrighted by Disney (1938 W. D. ENT.) on front of card (please see photo). This Valentine is EXTREMELY RARE as Walt Disney released his first full length feature film in February, 1938 (see excerpt from article in photos)!! Card is in rough condition as it is discolored on both the back and the front (especially the back - it almost looks like it was saved from a fire (please see photos). Also, the bottom is partly ripped (all except the copyright), so one can’t read the entire verse. But there’s enough of it to determine this is Sleepy. The ACCORDION still moves back and forth PERFECTLY. And in spite of the discoloration and rough texture, one can still see that the card was signed in pencil. In my opinion, the flaws on the front of the card do not detract from the overall appearance and actually give it a GREAT PATINA. Looks at the photos, however, and you be the judge. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS First Class Mail. Don’t miss out on this HIGHLY COLLECTIBLE Valentine which is truly a piece of HISTORY!! A piece like this doesn’t come by very often!! I will be happy to combine multiple card lots into one shipment. Please contact me before paying for multiple lots. I will then send you a combined invoice with the appropriate shipping fees. I base shipping costs on the buyers zip code. I use very low weight (but protective) shipping materials in an effort to reduce shipping costs. Postage rate is FIRM at at least. That is the rock bottom, lowest shipping fee the post office charges for packages at First Class. If your item is larger (or heavier) requiring a larger box, please wait until I contact you with the shipping costs or go with the higher rate that eBay has put on my listing. Thank you for your understanding in this matter. Please ask questions before bidding and let the photos guide you as well. US SALES ONLY PLEASE!! I was a long time seller on eBay some 15 years ago with 100% positive feedback. Bid with confidence! Thanks for looking!!
