Vintage Jiminy Cricket like quirky hand puppet

Description

This is a very vintage hand puppet that looks like Jiminy Cricket. There are no official tags or markings that name him as Jiminy, but he has the same face and a top hat and bow tie. His head is plaster which seems like an odd choice for a puppet. Indeed, he has lots of chips from being played with and bumped about. I'm guessing he was a hand made knock off of a Jiminy puppet! His shirt is plain and ragged. His hands are simple red felt mitten shapes. He is not fancy, but clearly some child of the 50's enjoyed him very much!
He is not a beauty but he has lots of character!
