Vntg 1966 DONALD DUCK Nabisco Puppet's Wheat Puffs advertising BANK Walt Disney

Description

Up for sale is a vintage Donald Duck bank.
The bank was a container for Nabisco’s Caramel Flavored Wheat Puffs Cereal.
The plastic bank has a screw on metal lid.
The bank is marked ‘Donald Duck’ across the front of the helmet.
Additional marking includes ‘Coin Slot’ on the back which was roughly cut out as if a child did it.
At the back bottom is a copyright symbol followed by
‘Walt Disney Production’.
The bank has fading of the original color highlights that is most noticeable at the suspenders.
The duck bill has some teething marks seen mostly under the top bill.
Also, there are 3 pin holes under the back tail.
The lid is marked with the product name, “Nabisco’s Caramel Flavored Wheat Puffs Cereal”, the ingredients, the Nabisco information and most importantly the ‘…copyright 1966’ date.
The screw on metal lid has worn paint on the exterior and minor rust on the interior but looks vintage good.
The Donald Duck bank measures approximately 10” tall x 4-1/2” diameter at the widest point.
